The Cinemondo ghouls take their annual trip down Scary Street looking for candy and genuine scares.  We found a list online that presumes to scientifically lay out a list of SCARIEST HORROR FILMS OF ALL TIME and we used our own scientific methods to determine the validity of the research… 

Sure, horror movies are fun, but what does SCIENCE say about it? Can it be scientifically proven with serious research which movies are the most terrifying? Is it a good measuring factor to just add up which movies pump up your heart rate the most? Or which ones elevate your various psychological responses with a solid sense of dread or which ones take the cheap way out and just hit you over the head with Jump Scare? There’s some good ones on there, for sure, but what do the experts at Cinemondo think? How does the research line up with our opinions? Check it out, and you’re almost guaranteed to find something that’s scientifically proven to be creepy to watch this Halloween.
